Repeat Playback

Disc repeat (video CD, audio CD only)

Example: To repeat play a disc

1 While the disc is playing, press REPEAT to start repeat play.

•To cancel repeat play, press REPEAT

again. This clears the “ ” indicator from the display.

•You cannot use repeat play with PBC (playback control) play of a PBC video CD.

•You may not be able to use repeat play with certain discs.

•You cannot use repeat play in combination with programmed play.

A-B repeat (DVD only)

Example: To repeat the scene from 0:01:00 to 0:02:00 in Chapter 1 of Title 1

1 When play reaches the start point of the scene, press A-B.

•This registers the location at the start point (A).

2 When play reaches the end point of the scene, press A-Bagain.

A B

•This starts A-B repeat from the start point (A) and the end point (B).

•To cancel A-B repeat, press A-Bagain. This clears the “ A B ” indicator from the display.

•The start point and end point must be inside the same chapter.

•A-B repeat cannot be used with a video CD or audio CD.

•A-B repeat cannot be used with some multi-angle functions (see page 74).

Helpful Hints

•A-B repeat is cancelled whenever you press ËSTOP, TITLE, or MENU.
