To use the disc menu to turn on subtitling

This function can be used only with a disk that has been played once, even partially.

1 While the disc is playing or stopped, press MENU to display the disc menu. 2 Use ' and " to select the subtitle item on the disc menu.

3 Press ENTER to display the subtitle set number selection screen.

4 Use ' and " to select the subtitle set you want to use.

5 Press ENTER to register your selection and display the subtitles.

Repeat the above procedure to make other disc menu settings.

The procedure shown here provides only general steps. The actual procedure for using the disc menu depends on the disc you are using. See the disc jacket for details.

The disc menu does not appear immediately after you load a disc into the DVD player or when the DVD player is in the Standby mode. It appears only after the disc has been played, even if only partially.

Helpful Hints

You can also select items by using the number buttons.
