Other Disc Play Features
Title/track direct skip
You can use direct skip only with a disc that is playing or that was playing but it now stopped.
In the case of a video CD or audio CD, start from step 2.

2 Use the number buttons to input the number of the title (track) to which you want to skip.
Example: Press 3.
T - 3 C 0 0 3
1 : 3 9 : 5 4
3 Press ûPLAY.
•You must press ûPLAY within about 10 seconds after inputting a number.
•You may not be able to use direct skip with certain discs.
•Direct skip does not work immediately after you load a disc into the DVD player or when the DVD player is in the Standby mode. It can be used only after the disc has been played, even if only partially.
Helpful Hints
•If you are playing a video CD or audio CD, input a track number.
•If you make a mistake while inputting a number, press C (CLEAR) and try again.
Chapter direct skip (DVD only)
1 While the disc is playing, press DIRECT twice.
2 Use the number buttons to input the number of the chapter to which you want to skip.
Example: Press 3.
T 0 1 C - - 3 1 : 2 3 : 2 5
3 Press ûPLAY.
•You must press ûPLAY within about 10 seconds after inputting a number.
•You cannot skip to a chapter with a video CD or audio CD.
•With certain DVDs, the chapter number may not appear on the display.
•Some DVDs may partially disable the direct skip function.
