Timer and sleep operation
Timer operation is possible only when the tuner function is selected.
„Setting the timer
Before setting timer:
Set the unit on time (page 22).
If it is not on time, you cannot use the timer function.
1Press the ON/ (STAND-BY) button to turn the power on.
2Press the TUNER/BAND button.
Tune in to the desired station. (See page 27.)
3Adjust the volume using the VOLUME ( or ) button.
Do not turn the volume up too high.
4Press the TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly until " " is displayed.
5Press the or button to specify the hour to start, then press the
ENTER button.
6Press the or button to specify the minutes, then press the
ENTER button.
The unit will enter the timer stand-by mode automatically.
