1. Putthe projector into Standby mode,and then wait 15 minutes for it to cool down.
2. Disconnectt hepower cable from the poweroutlet, and then wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Connectthe power cable, andthen turn on the projector.
The“ ProjectorOverheated” messageappears
If the “ProjectorOverheated”message appearsand the projectorenters Standby modeduring use,
oneof the following issues is occurring:
lTheprojectoris overheatinginternallybecause of blocked air vents or ani nternaltemperature
over131°F (55°C).
lThetemperatureoutside the projectoris toohigh.
gTo resolvethe “Projector Overheated”error
1. Putthe projector into Standby mode,and then wait 15 minutes for it to cool down.
2. If yourroom is hot, lower the temperatureif possible.
3. Ensurethat nothingi s blocking the projector’sair intake and exhaust.
4. Disconnectt hepower cable from the poweroutlet, and then wait at least 60 seconds.
5. Connectthe power cable, andthen turn on the projector.
6. If the previoussteps don’t resolve the issue, disconnect the power cable, andthen contact your
authorizedSMART reseller(smarttech.com/wheretobuy).
The“ Fan Failure” messageappears
If the “FanFailure” messageappears andthe projector entersSt andbymode duringuse, one or both
ofthe following issues is occurring:
lTheprojectoris overheatinginternally.
lOneof the fans has failed.
gTo resolvethe “Fan Failure” error
1. Followsteps 1 t o 5 of To resolvethe “Projector Overheated”errorabove.
2. If the lampdoesn’t illuminate, put the projectorinto Standby mode andw ait 15 minutesf orit to
cooldown.
3. Disconnectt hepower cable, and thenc ontact yourauthorized SMART reseller
