HP print settings to choose	Guidelines to remember
Setup Tab	• Make sure paper is loaded in the IN tray.
- Print Quality: Choose Normal	• Make sure the OUT tray is in the down position.
- Paper Type: Choose Plain Paper	• Avoid envelopes that have clasps or windows.
- Paper Size: Choose appropriate envelope size	• Avoid envelopes that are shiny or embossed,
	envelopes with thick, irregular, or curled edges, or
Features Tab	envelopes that are wrinkled, torn, or otherwise
- Orientation: Choose Portrait	damaged.
- Two-Sided Printing: Unchecked	• If your software program includes an envelope-
	printing feature, follow those instructions instead of
	the procedure here.
Setup Tab	• Never load more than 15 envelopes at one time.
- Print Quality: Choose Normal	• Align the envelope edges before inserting them.
- Paper Type: Choose Plain Paper	• Avoid envelopes that have clasps or windows.
- Paper Size: Choose appropriate envelope size	• Avoid envelopes that are shiny or embossed,
	envelopes with thick, irregular, or curled edges, or
Features Tab	envelopes that are wrinkled, torn, or otherwise
