1 Plug the AC power adaptor into a wall outlet.

2Align the flat side of the battery pack withthe lineon the AC power adaptor.

3Push down and slide the battery packin the direction of the arrow

4 Set the CHARGE/VTR switch to CHARGE.

When charging isfinished, the charge indicator will go out.

Use the battery completely before recharging!

Before you recharge the battery, make surethe battery has been used (discharged)

completely. Excessivecharging may reduce thecharging capacity of the battery.

To use up the battery, remove the video cassette and set the POWER switch to

CAMERA with the battery attached, and leave the camcorder until the,F_\_indicator

appears blinkingand ared lampblinks inthe viewfinder.

Option AC-S10 AC power adaptor.

This adaptor hasa functionwhich allows you to confirm thatthe batteryis completely discharged and

readyto be recharged to itsfull capacity.
