1 Align the flat side of the battery pack with the white line on the camcorder.
2 Make sure that the arrow on the battery pack is close to the top of the camcorder.
3 Push down and slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow.
Notes
•Make surethe battery issecurely installed sothat itdoes not fall off. If the battery isnot
installed properly, thecamcorder willnot record accurately.
•You can usethe ACpower adaptor asa power sourcewhen recording indoors.

The decreasing blackbar indicates decreasing
battery power. Afterthe blackbar disappears the
#__\-Jindicator will appear andblink and ared
lamp will also blink in the viewfinder. Whenthey
blink rapidly, replace the battery pack.
Notes • The battery lifeindicator ofthe camcorder mayindicate adifferent remaining capacity from that of
theNP-77HD battery pack.
• Charge the batterypack whenthe black barof the battery life indicatordecreases quickly.
