Tile auto decoding function automatically

detects tiletype of audio signal heing input

(Dolby Digital, DTS, orstandard 2channel

stereo) and perlbrms the proper decoding if

necessary. This mode presents the sound as it

was recorded/encoded, without adding ally

effects (e.g. reverberation).

However, if there are no low t>equency signals

(Dolby Digital LFE, etc.), it will generate a low

fl'equencysignal fbr output to the subwoofer.

Outputting the sound frommultiple speakers

•AUTO FORMAT DIRECT MULTI

This mode lets youenjoy audio playback of all

types of discs from multiple speakers.

•The sound is not output from multiple speakers

depending on the source.

• Depending on the disc or sou roe, the beginning ofthe

soundmay be cut off as the optimum modeis

automatically selected. Toavoid cutting the sound,

select"A.F.D. STD."

Dolby Pro Logic produces five output channels
