You can search a DVD by litle or chapter, and
you can search aVIDEO CD/CD/DATA CD/
DATA DVD by track, index, or scene. As tides
and Iracks are assigned unique numbers onthe
disc, you can select the desired one by entering
its number. Or, you call search lk_ra scene using
the time code.

Press d9 DISPLAY. (When playing a
DATA CD/DATA DVD with JPEG image
files, press ©DISPLAY twice.)
The Control Menu display appears.
Press ,I,/4,to select the search method.
The display will show different items
depending on Ihe disc.

The number in parentheses indicates the
total number ol titles, chapters, tracks,

If you make a mistake
Cancel tile nnmber by pressing (-'LEAR,
then select another number.
Press @.
The system starts playback fi'om the

To search for a scene using the
time code (DVD VIDEO and
DVD-VR mode only)

For example, to find the scene at2 hours. 10
minutes, and 20 seconds after the beginning,
just enter [2:10:20].
Whenthe Control Menu display is turned off, you can
searchff)r a chapter (DVD VIDEO/DVD-R/DVD-
RW) or track (VIDEO CD/CD) bypressing the
number buttons and @.
You cannot search for a scene on a DVD+RW using
thetime code.
