[SPEAKER SETUP]
To obtain the best possible snrround sound, set
connection of the speakers and their distance
from your listening position. Then use the test
tone to adjnst the level and the balance of the
speakers to the same level.
Select [SPEAKER SETUP] in the Setup
Display. For details, see "Using the Setup
Display" (page 86).
The default settings are underlined.
•You cannotoperate thesesetup items whenyou
connect headphones tothe unit.

•When youchange Ihe [CONNECTION]setting, the
]SPEAKER FORMATION] setting returns to
]STANDARD].
•[DISTANCE (FRONT)]
The default distance setting for the speakers in
relation tothe listening position isshown below.
When yon set the distance using the Quick Setup
(page 24), the settings is automatically
displayed.

Select the item, then press ('LEAR. Note that
only the [CONNECTION] setting does not
return to the deLmlt setting.

subwoot)r setting is fixed, you cannot change
them.
