Selecting the connected

component

You can use a VCR or other components
connected to the SAT/CABLE or TV jacks on
the rear panel. Refer to the operating instructions
supplied with the components fnr fimher
inlormatinu.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "SAT/
CABLE" or "TV" appears in thefront panel
display.
Each time you press FUNCTION, the mode of
the system changes in the fnllowiug sequence.

When you use both the SAT/CABLE (AUDIO IN)
jacks (analog connection) andSAT/CABLE
ICOAXIAL orOPTICAL DIGITAL IN)j ick (digital
connection) at the same time, thedigital connection
takes priority.

Changing the input level of

the sound from connected

components

Distortion may occur when listening to a
component connected to the SAT/CABLE or
TV jacks on the rear panel or to the AUDIO IN
jack onthe [?out panel. This is nnta malfunction
and will depend on the component connected.
To prevent this, you can change the input level
t?om the sound nf the other components.
1Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"SAT/CABLE," "TV," or "AUDIO"
appears in the front panel display.
Press SYSTEM MENU.

3Press'l"/4, repeatedly until
"ATTENUATE" appears in the front
panel display, then press @ or ÷.
4Press '1'/4,to select a setting.
The default setting is underlined.
"ATT ON": attenuates Ihe iupul level.
The output level is changed.
"ATT OFF": normal input level.
5 Press @.
The setting ismade.
6Press SYSTEM MENU.
The system menu turns off.
