To eject the cassette
Open the cassette compartment cover and press 6. After the cassette rises, take it out, then close the cover.
You cannot eject the cassette while C MEMORY appears in the viewfinder because the digital camcorder is still writing information into the cassette memory. After C MEMORY disappears the cassette automatically rises.
When ejecting the cassette, never close the cassette compartment cover until the cassette is completely removed.
To prevent accidental erasure
Slide the tab on the cassette to expose the red mark. If you insert the cassette with the
red mark exposed, the beeps sound, the 
and 6 indicators flash in the viewfinder and display window, and you cannot record.
