1 Open the head cover.	3 Remove the protective cap from the new ink
	cartridge.

Note

Do not push the head cover backward after it has been opened a little. If extra force is applied at the hinges of the head cover, it may be hard to open it from then on.

2 Remove the empty ink cartridge.

Pull it up by holding the handle of the ink cartridge.

Maintenance

Do not touch the points marked with .

If you touch those points, the ink may get on your fingers.

Check that the air hole located on the top of the ink cartridge is open.
