2AF/PEAK (audio frequency/ peak) level indicator

The color indicates the strength of the audio input signal.

On in red: Audio input level is –40 dBV or more (when the INPUT selector is set to MIC) or +8 dBV or more (when the INPUT selector is set to LINE).

On in green: Audio input level is –60 dBV or more and less than –40 dBV (when the INPUT selector is set to MIC) or –9 dBV or more and less than +8 dBV (when the INPUT selector is set to LINE).

Off: Audio input level is less than

–60 dBV (when the INPUT selector is set to MIC) or less than –9 dBV (when the INPUT selector is set to LINE).

3INPUT (input signal) selector Set this selector to MIC when a microphone is conneted to the audio input connector; set it to LINE when an audio mixer, etc. is conneted to the audio input connector.

Notes

The UTX-P1 does not support external power supply. Do not connect a mirophone which requires external power supply.

Do not set the INPUT selector to MIC position while the audio signal is being input from the audio mixer, etc. Doing so may cause excessive audio input, resulting in distorted playback or recorded sound or damage to the playback or recording equipment.

The D channel indication for

AAF (audio frequency) indication Appears whenever the input audio signal is stronger than the reference level.

BRF (radio frequency) indication Appears during signal transmission.

CBATT (battery) indication Shows the battery condition.

DCH (channel) indication

Shows the transmission channel. Each time you press the SET button in transmission mode, the channel indication changes as follows.
