Responding to CallWaiting
When you’re on a call, Call Waiting alerts you to incoming calls by sounding one beep. Your phone’s screen informs you that another call is coming in and displays the caller’s phone number (if it is available and you are in digital mode).
Torespondtoanincomingcallwhileyou’reonacall:

(or select Options[right softkey] >Flashor Flash:Speaker). (This puts the first caller on hold and answers the second call.)
Toswitchbacktothefirstcaller:

(or select Options[right softkey] >Flashor Flash:Speaker). (The Answer on Hold will be automatically deactivated. See page 30 for Answer on Hold.)

Tip: For those calls where you don’twantto be interrupted, you can
temporarily disable CallWaiting by pressing 
before placing your call. CallWaiting is automatically reactivated once you end the call.
