3.3Configuring the eWay Environment Properties

The eWay Environment Configuration properties contain parameters that define how the eWay connects to and interacts with other eGate components within the Environment. When you create a new VSAM External System, you may configure the type of External System required.

Available External System properties include:

ƒInbound VSAM eWay

ƒ(Outbound) VSAM CP eWay

ƒOutbound VSAM non-Transactional eWay

To Configure the Environment Properties:

1In Enterprise Explorer, click the Environment Explorer tab.

2Expand the Environment created for the VSAM Project and locate the VSAM External System.

3Right-click the External System created for the VSAM Project and select Properties from the list box. The Environment Configuration Properties window appears.
