Load Onboard LAN1 Option ROM/Load Onboard LAN2 Option ROM
Select Enabled to enable the onbo a rd LAN1 or LAN2 Option RO M . This is to boot
computer using a network interface. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

XSuper IO Device Con guration

Serial Port1 Address/ Serial Port2 Address
This option speci es the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request address
of Serial Port 1 and Serial Port 2. Select Disabled to prevent the serial port from
accessing any system resources. When this option is set to Disabled, the serial port
physically becomes unavailable. Select 3F8/IRQ4 to allow the serial port to use 3F8
as its I/O port address and IRQ 4 for the interrupt address. The options for Serial
Port1 are Disabled, 3F8/IRQ4, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3. The options for Serial Port2
are Disabled, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, and 2E8/IRQ3.
XRemote Access Con guration
Remote Access
This allows the user to enable the Remote Access feature. The options are Disabled
and Enabled.
If Remote Access is set to Enabled, the following items will display:
Serial Port Number
This feature allows the user decide which serial port to be used for Console Redi-
rection. The options are COM 1 and COM 2.
Serial Port Mode
This feature allows the user to set the serial port mode for Console Redirection.
The options are 115200 8, n 1; 57600 8, n, 1; 38400 8, n, 1; 19200 8, n, 1; and
9600 8, n, 1.
Flow Control
This feature allows the user to set the ow control for Console Redirection. The
options are None, Hardware, and Software.
Redirection After BIOS POST
Select Disabled to turn of f Console Redirection af ter Power-On Self-Test (POST).
Select Always to keep Console Redire cti on act ive all t he tim e afte r POST. (Note:
This setting may not be suppor ted by some operating systems.) Select Boot Load er
to keep Console Redirection ac tive during P OST and Boot Loade r. The options
are Disabled, Boot Loader, and Always.
