Battery Installation

1. To install an onboard battery, follow the steps 1 & 2 above and continue
below:
2. Identify the battery's polarity. The positive (+) side should be facing up.
3. Insert the battery into the battery holder and push it down until you hear a
click to ensure that the battery is securely locked.
Warning: When replacing a battery, be sure to only replace it with the same type.

3-5 Returning Merchandise for Service
A receipt or copy of your invoice marked with the da te of purchase is required
before any warranty service will b e rendered. You can obtain service by calling
your vendor for a Returned Merchandise Auth orization (RMA) number. For faster
service, you may also obtain RMA auth orizations online (http://www.supe rmicro.
com/support/rma/ ). When you return the motherboard to the manufacturer, the
RMA number should be prominently disp layed on the outside of the shipping
carton, and mailed prepaid or hand -carried. Shipping and handling charg es will
be applied for all orders that must be maile d when service is complete.
This warranty only covers normal c onsumer use and does not cover damages
incurred in shipping or from failure due to t he alteration, misuse, abuse or imp roper
maintenance of products.
During the warranty period, contact your distributor rst for any product prob-
lems.
