System Name identifies the system | TANDBERG 6000 MXP specs

General Use

5.1.2System Name

System Name identifies the system:

On the welcome page.

During an MCU conference call.

When using the Web-interface.

When the codec is acting as an SNMP Agent.

Towards a DHCP server.

H323 ID. Other systems can call in using this name instead of IP-number/IP-address.

System Name is blank by default. System name can be alphanumeric and up to 50 characters long. Follow the installation procedure to enter a System Name.

Note that if the system name contains Asian and non-Latin character text input, the International Name using Latin characters only, must be specified as well.
