1. Introduction

The AD268 is an 8 channel analog input module for the T2 series programmable controllers.

The AD268 converts external analog signals (voltage or current) into digital values cyclically so

that the T2 can process the analog signals.

1.1 AD268 Functions

The AD268 has the following functions.

1) 8 channels input per module

2) Selectable input type

• ±5V

• ±10V

• 0 to 5V

• 0 to 10V

• 1 to 5V

• 0 to 20mA

• 4 to 20mA

3) 16-bit high-resolution A/D conversion

4) High-speed (1ms/channel) conversion cycle

5) Gain and offset calibration function

6) Input data averaging function

7) Unused channel skip function
