13.2.6ControlLogix Example: AC/DC Drive Profile Add-On Instruction

The AC/DC drive profile Add-On Instruction (AOI) is a simple interface to command and monitor the inverter. It is based on I/O assembly instances 21 & 71.

1)Complete all the steps in section 13.2.4. Please note that the Assembly Input Instance must be changed to 71 and the Assembly Output Instance must be changed to 21. Refer to Figure 87.

2)Right click on “Add-On Instructions” in the controller organizer view and select “Import Add-On Instruction”. Browse and import the AC/DC drive profile AOI. Refer to Figure 88.

3)Double click “Controller Tags” in the controller organizer view and select the “Edit Tags” tab at the bottom.

4)Create the tags in Figure 89.
