8.BACKUP FUNCTION

(ONLY WHEN THE BACKUP MASTER IS CONNECTED)

(1)Function

By connecting the backup master terminal (BM), the various files stored in the master terminal

(M) can be backed up.

The terminal assigned to ID No. 2 will function as a backup master terminal (BM). By pro- gramming ID No. 2 in the terminal connection table and downloading this data to each termi- nal, the system will function as a system in which the backup master terminal (BM) is con- nected.

By changing terminal ID from 2 to 1, the backup master terminal (BM) will function as the master terminal (M).

NOTE: The tables (center files) managed by the master terminal (M) and used by each terminal via inquiries and PC transmission information tables are backed up.

Sales data is backed up on a real-time basis.

When sales data of the master terminal (M) is updated, sales data of the backup master terminal (BM) is updated at the same time.

Backup data check function:

Correspondence between the center files and backup data is checked every certain period of time.
