2Click the CPU tab. Make sure that the Dynamically Switchable option, located in the Dynamic CPU Frequency mode section of the window, is selected.

3Click OK.

Using the Power Saver Utility

The second stage is to set the Power Saver option:

1Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.

2Double-click the Power Saver icon.

The Power Saver Properties window appears, with the Power Save Modes tab displayed.
