L’onduleur comporte six connexions de sortie à contacts secs. Ces contacts sont normalement ouverts ou normalement fermés. Les valeurs nominales des contacts sont 250 V CA/28 V CC; 8 A.

Le port de série RS-232 DB9 connecte l’onduleur à une station de travail ou un serveur (câble inclus). En communiquant avec l’onduleur par le biais de ce port, le logiciel de gestion PowerAlert de Tripp Lite (inclus) peut surveiller et contrôler l’onduleur. PowerAlert sert également de proxy SNMP, permettant à l’onduleur d’apparaître comme un dispositif gérable sur le réseau.

Les signaux RS-232 et les opérations incluent : niveau de la charge, état de la batterie, niveau de la batterie, mode de fonctionnement, tension d’entrée CA, tension de sortie CA, fréquence d’entrée CA, température interne, délai d’attente d’arrêt établi, activation/désactivation de l’alarme et arrêt à distance.

11-11 Port de configuration en parallèle

Le port de configuration en parallèle permet à l’onduleur d’être connecté à un autre onduleur de type et de capacité identiques à être utilisé dans une configuration parallèle (1+1) pour une capacité accrue ou une tolérance accrue aux anomalies. Avertissement : Utiliser uniquement le câble de configuration en parallèle qui est inclus avec l’onduleur. Tenter d’utiliser un câble incompatible pourrait endommager les onduleurs et créer un sérieux risque de dommage à la personne et à la propriété.
