7.The expansion HDD numbering is indicated as below. Top to bottom: HDD9, HDD10, HDD11, HDD12

8.Connect the power and data cables to the SATA/SAS backplane. SATA/SAS connectors on the M1216-P backplane are indicated as below.

Top to bottom: J1, J3, J5, J7

9.Connect the other end of the SATA/SAS cables to the connectors on the PCI-E RAID card.
