TROUBLESHOOTING

RECOVERY PROBLEMS

Problem: “HIGH-PRESSURE” LED

Solution:

Be sure tank valves are open and hoses are properly connected to the tank. Check for the presence of air in the storage tank (see air purge), if necessary purge as required.

After a HIGH PRESSURE shutdown it will be necessary to remove the back plastic cover and manually reset the high pressure switch bypressing on the small red button on the top of the pressure switch located on the top of the manifold.

Problem: “SERVICE” message

Solution:

Remove and replace the low side filter/dryer. See REPLACING THE FILTER/DRYER

Problem: When in RECOVERY displayshows error n°1 (ER 01)

Solution:

The A/C system is empty, run EVACUATE

Problem: When in EVACUATE the displayshows error n°2 (ER 02)

Solution:

The A/C system isn’t empty, run RECOVERY

NO DISPLAY WHEN MAIN POWER SWITCH IS ON

Problem: Blown main fuse

Solution:

Replace fuse 15A, located in the input power connector. A spare fuse is included in the machine.

REFILLING DOES NOT FLOW

Problem: Refrigerant supplyempty or low

Solution:

Add refrigerant to the tank, check the scale calibration.

Problem: Pressure of the A/C system equals the pressure of the bottle

Solution:

Close the high side tap, turn on the A/C system, let the compressor of the A/C system recover the remaining refrigerant.

Problem: Tank valves closed.

Solution:

Open liquid (RED) valve and be sure hose is properly connected to the tank and the unit.
