Using the MagStripe Slot Scanner

There are three requirements for using a MagStripe Slot Scanner:
•The MagStripe Slot Scanner must be plugged into your WDP Reader's MagStripe port (next to the Wand port).
•If using a dual or tipple track reader, Jumper 9 must be set to M (for MagStripe) for dual or triple track scanner instead of W (for Wand or bar code slot scanner). Single Track Magstripe reading is will work with either the W or M setting. See Appendix A, Opening the WDP Reader's Case, and Appendix B, Jumper Settings, for instructions on how to do this. You must enable the proper track using the WDP Setup Menu as described on page 15.
