CLEARING PAPER MISFEEDS AND JAMS
Area 18
Note: Sometimes the printer control console messages direct you to discard the last sheet delivered to the stack following a jam in area 18. Check for this message when clearing an area 18 paper jam.
If your printer has frequent jams in this area, you may need to clean the Q1107A sensor. Refer to the “Cleaning the sensors and the reflecting surfaces” section of the Guide to Performing Routine Maintenance.
