6. l-channel signal which this trait can automatically detect. To

ellioy these kinds of discs with the extended surronnd mode. select "MATRIX".

The extended surround mode is not available in the ±bllowing cases:

When "SUR. LR" (see page 55) is set to NONE.

When the source colmected to the MULTI CH INPUT jack is being played.

When the source being played does not contain surround left and right channel signals.

When a Dolby Digital KARAOKE sottrce is being played. When "2ch Stereo" or "Direct Stereo" is selected.

When "AIrTO" is selected while using STRAIGHT or one of the SUR. STANDARD programs.

When the power of this unit is turned off. this setting will be reset to "AUTO".
