If the signal fi'om the station you want to select is weak,

tune into it manually. Manually tuning into an FM station

will automatically switch the tuner to monaural reception to increase the signal quality.

1Select TUNER and the reception band following steps 1 and 2 as described in "Automatic tuning".

2Press TUNING MODE (AUTO/MAN'L MONO) so that the AUTO indicator disappears from the front panel display.

•Automatically presetting FM stations

You can use the automatic preset tuning feature to store FM stations. This function enables this unit to

automatically tune into FM stations with strong signals, and to store up to 40 (8 stations in 5 groups, A1 through E8) of those stations in order. You can then recall any preset station easily by selecting the preset station number.
