CHAPTER 8: Internet Direct Connection (IDC) Service

[IP Addr.]/[Sub Mask]/[Gateway]:

Enter the address of the I/O Center, subnet mask and gateway server. These settings must be made when [Use DHCP] is set to [MAN.].

[Proxy Server]/[Proxy Port]:

Enter the name and the port number for the proxy server. These settings are necessary only when a proxy server is located in your local network.

[Delete Cookie]:

Delete the contents of all saved cookies*.

[Connection Info.]:

You can confirm the information of network settings.

Note: For information about DNS server address, IP address, subnet mask and gateway server address, check your contract or contact your Internet provider.

Initializing Internet Settings

If you want to initialize Internet settings, first you must reset the whole system of the Disklavier. (→ pg. 68 “Resetting the Disklavier”)

However, cookies* are still remain after system resetting. To delete cookies, perform the appropriate operation on the [Network] setup screen. (→ pg. 90 “Setting Up the Disklavier for Internet Connection”)
