[J] NEW RECORD

Registers a new record. The smallest available empty record number is used for registering. When you press this button, a message appears prompting you to execute, abort or cancel

the operation.

 

YES ..................

Press this to register the record and close the display.

NO ..................

Press this to close the display without registering the record.

CANCEL...........

Press this to close the message box and return to the previous display.

The maximum number of records is 2500 (PSR-2000)/ 1200 (PSR-1000), including internal records.

[1▼▲] TEMPO

Determines the tempo for the selected record. When changing the file with the [C] button, the tempo is automatically changed to that of the changed file.

[3▼▲]~[5▼▲] GENRE

Selects the specific genre for editing. The available range includes all preset genres as well as any you’ve entered yourself.

[6▼▲] GENRE NAME

For entering a genre name. Press the button to call up the display for inputting the genre name, then edit the name as desired. A maximum of 200 genre names can be stored.

The genre name you input becomes effective when the current record is edited (overwritten) by pressing the [8] (OK) button, or when a new record is registered by pressing the [J] (NEW RECORD) button.

If you exit from the MUSIC FINDER EDIT display without actually editing or registering a record, the input genre name is deleted.

[8] OK

Executes all editing and changes to the record. When you press this button, a message appears prompting you to execute, abort or cancel the operation.

YES ..................

Press this to replace the record and close the display.

NO ..................

Press this to close the display without replacing the record.

CANCEL...........

Press this to close the message box and return to the previous display.

[8] CANCEL

Press this to cancel the operation and return to the MUSIC FINDER display.
