INFORMACIÓN TÉCNICA SOBRE EL MOTOR

El motor es de uno cilindros, de válvulas en cabeza (OHV), refrigerado por aire y de baja emisión.

En el Estado de California, los motores han obtenido la certificación del California Air Resources Board (Consejo de recursos de aire de California) de cumplimiento de la normativa sobre emisiones durante 1000 horas. Esta certificación no supone para el comprador, el propietario o el usuario ninguna garantía adicional en lo relativo al rendimiento y a la vida útil del motor. Las garantías del motor atañen exclusivamente al producto y a las emisiones que se declaran en este manual.

Período de Cumplimiento del Motor

Algunos motores con la certificación de cumplimiento de la fase 2 de las normas sobre emisiones de la United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA,Agencia estadounidense de protección del medioambiente ). En el caso de los motores con certificación de fase 2, el período de cumplimiento de la normativa sobre emisiones que figura en la etiqueta de cumplimiento de emisiones indica el número de horas de funcionamiento durante las cuales el motor ha demostrado cumplir los requisitos federales sobre emisiones. Para motores de menos de 225 cc, Categoría C = 125 horas, B = 250 horas y A = 500 horas. Para motores de 225 cc o más, Categoría C = 250 horas, B = 500 horas y A = 1000 horas.

La clasificación de este motor es intermedia, con un índice de aire de 3. El período de cumplimiento sobre emisiones de la EPA es de categoría C. El motor tiene una cilindrada de 407 cc.
