6.Turn the computer over again, and open the computer display. Pick the palm rest off the computer as shown in the drawing below.

7.Move the palm rest carefully away from the computer until you can see where it’s connected 1, and then detach the connector 2. Now the palm rest has been removed.

8.If two SO-DIMMs are already installed in the memory slot, remove one of them to make room for the new one by pressing out on the latches on both edges of the socket at the same time. Be sure to save it for future use.
