Changing the Resolution | Resolution (dots per inch) — allows you to select the scanning |
option | resolution. 300 dpi is optimal for creating PDF files. Choices are: 75, |
| 100, 150, 200, 240, 300, 400, and 600. |
Changing the Black and | Black and White Adjustment — allows you to change the Contrast |
White Adjustment option | and Threshold values. This option is only available if your Scan As |
| selection is Black and White. When you select the Black and White |
| Adjustment icon, the Black and White Adjustment screen will be |
| displayed allowing you to select either Contrast or Threshold. |
| If you selected Best (iThresholding) on the Scan As screen, only the |
| Contrast value can be changed. If you selected Normal (ATP), both |
| Contrast and Threshold can be changed. |
•When you make a selection, either the Contrast or Threshold Adjustment screen will be displayed. Use the Up and Down arrows to adjust the value, then click the green button to the left of the number to save the new value.
