Setting up a flash drive password

You may want to set up a password that will prevent unauthorized access to your configuration file. When a password is assigned, the Scan Station or Configuration Organizer will prompt the user for this password before accessing the information in the file.

1.Select User>Configuration Password. The Flash Drive Password dialog box will be displayed.

2.Enter a 4-digit numeric password.

3.Re-enter the password and click OK.

NOTE: If the passwords do not match, a message will be displayed and the Flash Drive Password dialog box will be redisplayed.
