Indicator lights and error codes

Clearing a document jam

Occasionally you may encounter a situation with your Scan Station where it may not function properly. Refer to the information in this chapter to help you resolve the situation before calling Technical Support.

The indicator lights provide information on the current state of the Scan Station.

Flashing green: indicates the Scan Station is initializing from powering on or warming up from a power saving mode and preparing to scan.

Steady green: indicates the Scan Station is ready to scan.

Flashing red: indicates a Scan Station error. Flashes E then a number, such as 6 (indicating the Scan Station cover is open).

The following list of error codes may be displayed in the Function window. When an error is indicated, the indicator light blinks the same number of times as the number displayed in the function window. Therefore, if the cover is open, the number “6” appears in the Function window and the indicator flashes red and blinks six times.
