Chapter 3 Operation

Note Starting the flow meter or pressing EXIT will always display the Run Mode screens.

Start-Up

To begin flow meter operation:

1.Verify the flow meter is installed and wired as described in Chapter 2.

2.Apply power to the meter. At start up, the unit runs a series of self- tests that check the RAM, ROM, EPROM and all flow sensing com- ponents. After completing the self-test sequence, the Run Mode screens appear.

3.The Run Mode displays flow information as determined by system settings. Press the ￿￿ arrow keys to view the Run Mode screens.

4.Press the ENTER key from any Run Mode screen to access the Setup Menus. Use the Setup Menus to configure the meter’s multi- parameter features to fit your application.
