￿User Name: (Optional) The User Name allows you to set up an additional layer of security for web access to the command mode by requiring that users correctly enter a name in addition to a password. Note that the User Name is only required when the unit is accessed via the Web Interface. (16 Characters, Default = undefined.)

￿Site ID: Defines a brief text message, which can be used to identify the installation location of the IPS unit. (Up to 32 characters, Default = undefined.)

￿Serial Port Mode: Sets up the IPS Console Port for use with either a local PC ("Console") or an external modem ("Modem"). Note that when the Serial Port Mode is set at "Modem" the modem initialization string will be sent every 15 minutes. (Default = Console.)

￿Modem Initialization String: Defines a command string (up to 32 characters long) which can be sent out the serial Console Port to initialize an external modem. If the Serial Port Mode is set to "Console", the modem initialization string will not be sent. For more information on initialization commands, refer to the user's guide for your modem. (Default = ATE0M0Q1&C1&D2S0=1)

￿Baud Rate: The Baud Rate for the IPS Master Unit's Console Port. (Default = 9600 bps, No Parity, 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit.)

Note: When this setting is changed, the new baud rate

 

will not be applied until the user exits and then re-

 

enters the IPS command mode.
