Default Installation Overview
Default installation is the quickest and easiest way to install the software. The installation software uses default values to automatically partition, slice, and create file systems on your root disk, and then installs a standard set of packages. The slices are determined according to the amount of space needed to install the packages. Once the system is installed, you may add additional packages and configure other disks.
For default installations, follow these steps:
1.Boot from the installation media (Boot flex #1 and #2).
2.Select the type of installation (default or interactive).
3.Enter the system name.
4.Set the date and time.
5.Select the install media device.
6.Specify the secondary disks.
7.Install licenses
8.Reboot the system.
Additional administrative tasks may also be performed.
