3.Connect the magnetic antenna base cable to the antenna cable.

4.Connect the antenna to the base.

5.Connect one serial null-modem cable from the Serial Port 2 DB-9 connector on the evaluation daughtercard to a serial port on a personal computer or laptop. The PC or laptop acts as a console port for command line configuration and monitoring.

6.If an Ethernet LAN connection is required, plug a category 5 Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 jack.

The Ethernet interface has Auto-MDIX that automatically detects and configures itself for either a straight-thru or crossover Ethernet cable.
