The following operations can be performed from a remote location using a touch tone telephone.

Program the remote operation ID (feature #11 on page 81) and set the unit to TAD/FAX

mode before going out (p. 62).

Recording a message in a mailbox:

1.Call your unit.

2.Press and the mailbox no. ( 1 or 2 ).

3.Leave a message.

Retrieving messages from a mailbox:

1.Call your unit.

2.Press and the mailbox no. ( 1 or 2 ).

3.Enter the mailbox

4.Press the remote

command key (see the reverse side).

The remote operation is available only from a touch tone telephone when the unit is in TAD/FAX mode.

When the unit is in TEL mode, call your unit and wait for 10 rings. The answering device will temporarily answer the line. Enter the remote operation ID during the greeting message.

The unit will switch to TAD/FAX mode.

When you press a key, press firmly.

To send a document, press
