Using The Agilent 66001A MPS Keyboard

Introduction

This appendix describes the Agilent 66001A Modular Power System (MPS) Keyboard, which is available as an option for the Agilent 66000A Modular Power System.

The Agilent 66001A MPS Keyboard lets you program the Agilent 66000A Modular Power System without having to connect it to a computer. With the keyboard, you can:

Access any module in the mainframe that the keyboard is plugged into.

Display operating and status information from the selected module.

Control the module from the fields that appear on the display.

Program the module using SCPI commands and queries.

Read error messages.

Connecting The Keyboard

The keyboard plugs into a jack on the front of the mainframe as indicated in the following figure. A keyboard jack is also available on the rear panel. The keyboard can be plugged in or out while the mainframe is on.

Note

Do not connect more than one keyboard to a mainframe.
