<Supplementary Explanation>
1.Be sure to load the battery and set the low battery check function to ON whenever the real time clock is used. If the battery is not loaded or the battery voltage is low, the real time clock data is erased at the power off time.
2.When the low battery check function is set to ON and if the battery voltage is 2.4V or less, the printer will result in a “LOW BATTERY” error and stop at the power on time. In that case, hold down the [RESTART] key to restore to “<1>RESET” display.
3.When “LOW BATTERY” error has occurred, contact the nearest TOSHIBA TEC service representative for replacement of the battery.
4.If you would like to keep using the same battery even after “LOW BATTERY” error occurs, set the Low battery check function to OFF, and set the date and time to the real time. As long as the power is on, the Real Time Clock will function. However, once the power is turned off, the date and time will be reset. Then, please ask for the battery replacement.
