Cause

The one-touch speed dialing key or coded speed dialing code you entered is

 

not registered.

 

 

Remedy

Register the one-touch speed dialing key or coded speed dialing code. For

 

more information, see the following:

 

"Registering One-Touch Speed Dialing," on p. 3-2

 

"Registering Coded Speed Dialing," on p. 3-4

RECEIVED IN MEMORY

Cause

The machine received the fax in the memory because paper or toner ran out, a

 

paper jam occurred, or incorrect paper size was loaded.

 

 

Remedy

Load correct paper size in the cassette, replace the cartridge, or clear the paper

 

jam. For more information, see the following:

REMOVE MP PAPER

Cause

Paper is loaded in the multi-purpose feeder.

 

 

Remedy

Remove the paper from the multi-purpose feeder.

 

If the machine receives the fax when paper is loaded in the multi-purpose

 

feeder, the received document will be stored in the memory.

 

SELECT A4/LTR/LGL

 

 

Cause

When the machine is receiving a fax, the paper size setting is set to a size other

 

than LTR, LGL, or A4.

 

 

Remedy

Set the paper size setting to LTR, LGL, or A4 and load paper of the same size.

 

The machine automatically prints the fax which was stored in the memory.

 

TX LIMIT REACHED

 

 

 

 

Cause

The fax jobs stored in the memory reached the maximum.

 

 

Remedy

Wait for the machine to send any faxes stored in the memory, then try sending

 

again.
