Error Codes
Errors in reports are recorded as error code numbers because there is not enough space to print a detailed description of the error in the report. When errors are recorded in reports, note the error code number, and check it against the table below to learn more about what caused the error and how to remedy it.

Cause | An Initial phase error occurred. |

Remedy | Contact the other party and make sure their fax machine is connected properly. |

Cause | You cannot send a fax because the line is busy. |

Remedy | Contact your telephone company and ask them to check the line for breakage. |
