Functions

Understanding the “Additional Functions”

The menus of the Additional Functions can allow you to specify or register various settings. This chapter explains the procedure to access the menus, and the contents of the menus only related to the fax functions.

• For the copy functions and some other menus of the common settings → User’s Guide.

NOTE • Before adjusting any settings, you may want to print the USER’S DATA LIST to check the current settings. (→ p. 2-7)

Accessing the Additional Functions

1Press Additional Functions.

2Press 4 (–)or e (+) to select the menu you want to change → press OK.

	ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS	→	FAX SETTINGS
Ex:	4.FAX SETTINGS		1.USER SETTINGS

3Use 4 (–)or e (+) to select the submenu you want to change.

Ex: 2.REPORT SETTINGS

4 Press OK.

REPORT SETTINGS

Ex: 1.TX REPORT

• For details of the submenus → pp. 10-2 to 10-11.

NOTE	• After selecting the item or value with 4 (–)or e (+), press OK to enter the setting.

	• If you press Stop/Reset before OK is pressed, the item you have selected will not be registered.
	• Press Stop/Reset to exit from Additional Functions.
	• If you press Additional Functions, the display returns to the previous screen.
