Installing the EtherFast Network Driver in NT 4.0

Since NT networking is already installed, you'll only need to install the EtherFast Card network adapter and configure your network settings to get NT networking up and running. To do this:

1.Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, then dou- ble-click on the Network icon.

2.When the networking window appears, click on the Adapters tab. Click on the Add button.

3.When the list of available network adapters appears, click on the Have Disk button.

4.Put the EtherFast Card disk into drive A. Type a:\winnt into the box on your screen and click OK. NT will copy the necessary network drivers to your comput- er.

5.When Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter appears in the adapter box, click OK.
