Step 1: Remove the cover
Never remove the computer cover without first removing the power cord from the power outlet and any connection to a telecommunications network.
1 Power off your PC.
2 Unplug the AC power cord from the rear of the PC.
3 If you are connected to a telecommunications network, disconnect the network cable.
4 If you are connected to a system under test, disconnect the line interface cable(s).
